In the past sixteen years, our coaching clients have mainly been executives. managers, leaders and leadership teams in small to very large organizations characterized by multiple layers of management, centralized governance and highly developed sets of policies and procedures. In addition, we coach entrepreneurs who are facing the challenges of growing an organization while maintaining their own personal ideals.
Coaching: Goal and Themes
The goal of our coaching is to help our clients improve workplace performance, to achieve greater personal and organizational effectiveness, and/or to face current challenges.
We assist clients in their attempts to change unhelpful behaviors in themselves or in their workgroups through processes that focus on attitudinal change as well as behavioral change.
We help clients root new behaviors or "best practices" in new insights about themselves and about those with whom they work.
We help clients gain new or deeper insight into what is happening within and around them as a basis for taking effective action.
Common coaching themes include:
gaining insight and discovering direction in the midst of many possibiliities or when there seems to be no good options
overcoming isolation in its various forms
improving decision-making through the integration of analysis and reflection
becoming aware of unquestioned presuppositions and tolerations in clients and in their organization’s culture
addressing work/life balance issues
increasing the capacity to dialogue and resolve conflict
facing opposition gracefully
bringing a client’s whole self and best self to work
bringing out the whole selves and best selves of those whom client’s lead and work with
